Who We Are
Medicare Crossover Clearinghouse is a service of Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company. We began receiving Medicare EDI crossover claims in 1992. We've executed Trading Partner Agreements and established electronic connections with every Medicare Part A Fiscal Intermediary and Regional Home Health Intermediary and every Part B Carrier and Durable Medical Equipment Carrier in the United States. And now, we are the Trading Partner Contractor for numerous payers with the Coordination of Benefits Contractor (COBC).

When other Medicare supplemental companies learned of our success in receiving EDI crossover claims, they contacted us to ask for our assistance with their Medicare claim needs. In 1994, we began offering our crossover clearinghouse services to other Medicare supplemental payers through the execution of a Clearinghouse Services Agreement — forming a chain of trust between the supplemental payer, Mutual of Omaha and CMS.

Today, supplemental Medicare payers across the country enjoy the convenience and flexibility of our comprehensive crossover clearinghouse services.
